Our Best Tradition is our Hospitality!

From a mountain farm to a spa hotel, from a mountain bar to Bergkristall …

• The history of our hotel begins in 1967: Hans and Hedi Lingg built a small refreshment retreat on their idyllic farm.
• The friendly atmosphere and legendary yodelling evenings at the "Bergstüble" soon became popular throughout the Allgäu region. As the bar became too small, the renovation of Hotel "LINGG-Bergstüble" began.
• In 1993 we, Hans-Jörg and Sabine Lingg, took over the well-established hotel.
• Following the expansion of the rooms, restaurant and spa area in 1995 the hotel changed its strategy. And with it came a new name: Spa Hotel Bergkristall.
• By 2006 Bergkristall had developed into one of the leading spa hotels in Allgäu. The hotel was expanded from 60 to 100 beds, and the Kristall Spa was increased to a size of 800 m².

Lots has changed since senior partners Hans and Hedi Lingg welcomed their first guests to the Bergstüble. But two things haven't changed: the family's team spirit and the hospitality with which we have always welcomed guests.
