"While looking for a suitable opportunity for my girlfried to propose during my stay at the Bergkristall, I came across the „dream view mountain picnic“.
I sent an email to the hotel to first discuss what was possible. I immediately got a very nice answer from Janina Lingg with initial information on planning.
We discussed all the details personally one day before the application. I was allowed to choose the contents of the basket, discussed the pick-up time and also got very helpful tips for the perfect place for the proposal of marriage.
On the picnic day itself, I went to the reception at the agreed time. The lovingly packed basket was ready with a picnic blanket. Since I was already very nervous, I was very happy that everything worked so smoothly and without complications. Due to the bad weather, a classic picnic on the meadow was not possible. But that wasn't bad at all, since we switched to one of the Alpine baskets. Here was a perfect place to propose to my girlfriend. After I asked her all questions and she answered "YES", we really enjoyed our picnic with the fantastic view.
Of the many beautiful moments that we were able to experience in the Bergkristall, that was our Bergkristall moment.
